Not sure if its in the topic but a POV has been uploaded TPR and it looks a great addition. Personally the green half looks the better half.

I have heard that this ride doesn't ride like metal, doesn't ride like wood, but rides like rubber.... Is that true??

Fright Fest Announcement

Seeing as it's becoming quite popular to announce Halloween line up so early now, Six Flags Magic Mountain have announced details on Fright Fest 2016!

Scare Mazes

Over the river and through the woods to Grandmothers house you go, but in this fairy tail, guests and the wolf are hunted by Red and her demonic minions...

Vault 666

Enter an old abandoned research facility where genetic experiments crossing humans with animals were once conducted. Just recently the frightening secrets have been unearthed, exposing terror and mayhem from deep within the unsecured vault.

Willoughby's Garden of Darkness

A dense labyrinth of man eating plants and evil apparitions, is inhabited by Innocence, the Willoughby's youngest daughter, who is always looking for a ghostly playmate...so keep loved ones close.

Toyz of Terror 3D

A defunct toy factory haunted by wicked windups, freakish furries and deranged dolls...all in 3D!

Willoughby's Resurrected

A reincarnation of the Willoughby family's beloved haunted mansion that includes hair-raising horror down long harrowing hallways and around each nightmare-ish turn.

Chupacabra

Guests will come face to face with this elusive blood-thirsty creature as it petrifies the local Dia De Los Muertos (Day of the Dead) Festival.

NEW FOR 2016 - Aftermath 2: Chaos Rising

The parks largest outdoor scare maze ever spanning over 42,000 square feet. This maze will strike terror into the brave souls entering a post-apocalyptic city inhabited by nomad warriors who rule with bone-crushing iron fists and the dead stalk the living. Larger than life props, fire, fog and other special effects make this a must-experience maze.

Scare Zones

Demon's Door

Your entry point to Fright Fest.

Zombie Xing

Face the undead horrors that wait in this scare zone.

Nightmares - A Twisted Fantasy

Childhood fears and bedtime stories take on a perverse twist.

Exile Hill

Freak out as unimaginable sinister souls appear without warning.

WasteLand

Barbarian humanoids dare guests to enter the carnage of Aftermath 2: Chaos Rising.

TERRORtory Twisted

Back by popular demand located in the Screampunk District is Fright Fest's largest scare zone where steam-spewing mechanical beasts relentlessly hunt down their victims. Beware the giant spider looming at the entrance.

NEW FOR 2016 - Suicide Squad: The Six Flags Fright Fest Experience

The park's DC UNIVERSE area will turn into DC's Midway City, where some of the "Worst Heroes Ever" from the upcoming film Suicide Squad will be roaming the streets. Darkness and chaos will reign as some of DC Comics' most famous supervillains will be found amongst the mass destruction from the film. State of the art digital imagery and fiery special effects will create an inferno as buildings burst into flames and creatures attack from every angle.

What do you think of Six Flags Magic Mountain's Fright Fest line up this year, and do you like the sound of Aftermath 2: Chaos Rising and Suicide Squad: The Six Flags Fright Fest Experience?

So I've just watched a film made in 1977 almost 40 years ago simply called Rollercoaster and its nice to see Revolution is still at the park from the movie. And its apparently now a VR coaster, how times change.

Yes, Revolution was recently "revolutionised" for 2016 by the addition of VR and lap bars and now operates as "The New Revolution".

Six Flags have announced West Coast Racers is their 2019 roller coaster. Labelled as the worlds first racing launched coaster, it will circuit the track twice, meaning you will experience four launches and reach speeds of 55mph. More info at the link below:

I’m pretty sure Ferrari World May have something to say about the ‘worlds first’ claim though...

I've seen negative opinions of this coaster but I think it looks brilliant. Especially as you get to ride each side and its almost guaranteed to duel. I'm a little sceptical of the pit stop however as it is Six Flags. Its an IP, however so there may be a part of the contract that requires them to maintain it well.

Hi all, does anyone know what Six Flags Magic Mountain's policy is with bags please?  Can you pay once for a locker that can be accessed in different areas of the park, or is it a paid locker that costs each time you open / lock it?  In terms of the rides themselves, can you leave bags at the side in the station free of charge?  Thanks in advance.

So West Coast Racers scraped in on that opening in 2019 promise, with the ride operating on select dates over the last week to passholders only. It'll open fully to the public in early January.

Although the waiting for the other train to offload and load passengers, in 2 train operation mode seems a real faff. Hopefully they have the third train somewhere that is shown in the preview render from 2018, and actually use it.

Cred count: 117!
