UK theme parks from another point of view!

It looks like good fun. It's almost like how I wish Rita had been. Doesn't look as good as any of their B&M's, but it's something "different" for the park and I like the ground hugs. I wouldn't say it's "mindblowing" though.

Terrain interaction looks great, but far too many dead spots, straight lines, and not in the right places, the one right after the inversion really makes no sence, even if it is a launch.

Not as good looking as I expected, and the name is awfull, but it still looks very good.

Oh and Busch Gardens have confirmed on their Facebook that Cheetah Hunt (eurgh) will have lap bars. Which is a relief seeing as some of those transitions do look pretty neck slicing!

The name in an interesting one. According to Screamscape Busch Gardens registered the Cheetaka name on the 18th of April 2010 and a press release was sent out using the Cheetaka name.
It also seems to be the case that cheetahhunt.com was not registered until Monday, whereas Cheetaka.com was registered back in April.

Its like there was a sudden change of plan.

And I'd say that the Cheetaka is a much better and more imaginative name than Cheetah Run.

Cheetaka is much better, wonder why they changed it :? Too complicated for some people? :P Cheetah Chase just sounds weak and cheesy, like a fair ride, Cheetaka is much better in every way.

Lap bars is great news!

A good thing here is the 1.21m height restriction.

Now that's a family/thrill coaster, Alton.

Loving the look of this, haven't ever been disappointed by a coaster at BGA, and cant wait to get on it next year! :D

Also, is it possible the ride name could still be Cheetaka and the Area surrounding it being called Cheetah Chase? just an idea :)

I dare say there was a threat of legal action from a certain Six Flags park!

Interesing article here about the name Cheetah Hunt, possibly being misconstrued as hunting Cheetah's. It also seems odd there is no ride logo or anything released yet, I wonder what's going on.

Edit. Also just been updated on the FB page that it will have OTSR's as per Rita etc.

There is also the early stages of planning for a new park in Orlando just of I-drive.

It would be good if they opened a new one!

And the strange facing support
Yeezus just rose again!

Certainly looks like it'll be an interesting experience. The worlds been beginning for a launch coaster thats more than just a launch coaster. However, Cheetah Hunt is the worst name ever. It needs a cool African name like the rest of the big coasters at Busch.
In the coat you wore to Alton Towers is still the way I see you now...

Oh hello *top secret* Intamin test site in Hungary.

Testing for the figure 8 structure before it was shipped out to Florida.

I'm sure there was another Intamin rollercoaster that had a major element tested/built in Hungary. Thirteen?

I love the supports, they're like extended to match the theme and everything.

Why has nobody ever done that before? (awaits proof that it has...)

That turnaround looks epic, arguably the highlight of the ride, even without the special supports, it should be an ace element.
