I agree ^^^
I was like wow that is so different!!
And it actually is very similar to oblivion now I think about it
If you look at this picture.. It's almost the exact same drop it will be like.. Isn't it??

They should make it so you're completely upside down, head first, so when you drop you're pulled into your seat! That would be scary!!

I also designed a upsidrop ride, it is taken to the very top, then the car turns around one or two time before stopping upside down and dropping, it the twists back up right at the bottom.

I think this would be amazing! Or with Air (a b&m flyer) they should put a vertical drop so you dive head first then swoop up, is there one like this??

I think that'd put too much force onto the restraints, hence why they do the pretzel loop instead, which in itself is one of the most forceful inversions around.

Maybe towards the bottom it will go back into sitting position? Like before it slows down it starts to tip back to seated position.

It's scary because i also had these ideas.. aswell as a reverse drop where riders lie on their backs and look up as they drop

There has been lots of progress on the construction of this ride. Below are a couple of photos taken from the Busch Gardens Facebook page. It looks like it is going to be a rather intimidating ride!

It has since then been topped off. Go to their Wikipedia page to see the completed structure :)

A picture of the tower topped off at a total height of 335ft (Picture taken from the Falcon's Fury Wikipedia page mentioned by DannyG above).
Once seats are installed it will have 8 rows of 4 riders - a total of 32 riders per drop.

I have followed construction of this since the announcement. I must say this looks like it will become the world's best drop ride :)

I am at Busch Gardens on the 9th April.

I'll be gutted if this isn't open yet!!!

Maybe a small chance if they start testing soon.

I would have thought the chances of a soft opening in April is unlikely, considering there's not even the train thing on the tower yet nor a station building/ queue line up yet. However I'll keep my fingers crossed for you :)

Been to Busch Gardens today (Tuesday). Make no mistake, this thing is huge. Can be seen from just about anywhere on the park. The cranes are gone now, and it looks like they have the framework for the seats in place now, tho no seats.

Signs around the park simply say opening Spring 2014

Found an image of one of the seats for Falcon's Fury:

Also, the ride experience can vary each time. Once you reach the top of the tower your seat tilts to 90 degrees, then a randomizer decides how long you are held there for - anything from 1 to 5 seconds. You then drop for 5 seconds before your seat returns to the normal position for the rest of the drop.

How comfy do those restraints looks! It looks like a cross between air' sand The Swarms! Suppose they have to be laying down and falling at 60mph but for Intamin, I'm very impressed and can't wait to ride it :)

Not exactly an update, but thought I'd share some photos that Busch Gardens posted on their Facebook page a few days ago of the tower in the fog. I thought they were quite atmospheric and give a sense of just how big this thing is!
