Chav 1: oh which ride is that?
Chav 2: i dunno but i like totally rode that yesterday
Chav 1: oh yeah me too

I heard this one yesterday during Frightnights in the Th13teen queue

"Why do they call it 13, isn't that an un-lucky number?"

*bangs head*

I know this doesn't relate to queues but I was at Alton Towers for Scarefest (13/10/12) and around The Towers area some people were asking for directions to Nemesis! It annoyed me so much I was thinking "If your lost then get a resort map!"

Ok not quite in a queue, but for once we were in a Sky Ride gondola going over the gardens and the goldola was a mute! yes no music or adverts.

There were 4 teenagers in with it. This is what they said
"I don't know why Alton Towers have gardens, who would want to come here and look at the gardens"
"What are we doing next, Sub Terra, what happens"
"I'm not going to say anything, you'll have to wait" Which I like these replies, let people find out them self and not tell them before they go on the ride.
"I heard it's all about an egg"
"Yeah, its about some dragon egg or something" *Facepalm*

There are moments like this where I just want to stop people and give them a history lession

I have heard loads of people ask why 13 is called ... 13!

In a long queue for Rita everyone started doing the Mexican wave!
Once thought air was the best. Then Th13teen for some reason.

Now I have found the ultimate beast ... OBLIVION

Just casually stood in the queue for Oblivion when a group of girls behind us decided they would start to discuss their erm... 'intimate experiences'
Smile. Always. :moj

While in the queue for Rita on Tuesday two 'nerdy type' boys where stood behind me discussing the ride and one was saying how it went 126mph and it's faster than Stealth. They also said it was strange that Stealth was slower since it opened later than Rita.

They don't have to get faster as time progresses and faster does not necessarily mean better!!! Also, where did they get 126mph from!?!

That would be the speed of Kingda ka. Imagine that Rita with the stats of kingda ka :-k

Which reminds me of my most painful overheard comment in a queue ever was in SFGAv, whilst waiting for El Torro, between a father and Son (who where right behind me):
Son: how does the train stay on the tracks?
Father: the trains are very heavy, and their weight keeps them on the tracks.

In my mind just flooded with; Up-stops! Up-stops! Up-stops! Up-stops! Up-stops! Up-stops! Up-stops! Up-stops! Up-stops! Up-stops!, my head nearly exploded.
I proceeded to passive aggressively explain up-stops to my uncle (who I was queuing with) within earshot of the farther and son.
"The Marmalisation Process has been scientifically designed to ensure a sense of euphoria and satisfaction should be had by all... There are no, known, Long Term side effects to the Marmalisation process, however short term side effects may include: dizziness, vomiting, loss of balance, loss of limb control, feinting, wild hallucinations but most importantly Smiles!"

One of two I've heard guests say while in the Waterpark:

Whilst swimming in the outdoor pool, a guest asked a Lifeguard: "Are we inside or outside?"

Overheard a guest ask: "Which slide is Oblivion...."

Faith in humanity gone...!
"It would be spiteful to put Jellyfish in a trifle..."

On Friday, while on the Sky Ride, I overheard 2 girls talking, and one asked "are you strapped in on Air?"
