Just a thought, will the revamped Ug Swinger now run at full height like it did before Rita came along? Or has it always been running at the same setting despite Rita? I'm sure it had to be less tilted because of proximity. I was just thinking that, if this wasn't an issue, we'd see a much improved ride?

I believe there was an issues with Rita which caused the park to 'lesser' the ride in one way or another.

Lets hope we do see an improvement.

I hope the new UG Swinger would swing high. It used to swing like a play-ground swing. Also, according to Wikipedea, the new ride's name is Fungi Flyer. :D

Wikipedia isn't really the most reliable place to get information from but the name does sound right.

Fungi Flyer, sounds alright and fits in with the new theme of the wave swinger.

It also says the playarea is going to be called Cuckoo Playground, though we've heard elsewhere that it'll be called Wobble World.

Pinch of salt?

Could be right, but let's be honest - we're best waiting for the attraction(s) list on the AT website to be updated, or for some mention in the 2009 brochure - when/if it ever appears.

As for the Swings, I believe they were running at 9rpm (since Electric Towers, which is when the ride was really tone down) but can run at a max. of 15rpm. So theoretically, the ride will be MUCH better.

I remember the day when Ug swinger used to swing really high long before Rita came in the picture i used to love it more back then.

Also i wouldn't trust wikipedia as it has bouncing bugs under the list of attractions for Cloud Cuckoo Land.

There are four rides in the area especially suitable for younger children; Frog Hopper, Bouncing Bugs, Cuckoo Carousel and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory : The Ride. The Peugeot 207 Driving School, for under 10s, opened to guests on 17 July 2006.[8].

Effectively. Very reliable sources have told me this.

However, nothing at AT is ever set in stone.

Well, I rarely trust Wikipedia unless I've read it somewhere else first!

Wobble World is the official, and confirmed name for the new playground. Just check out todays edition of The Sun. There also appears to be new resort image on there too?

Well as a name hasn't been announced it is hardly likely to be Fungi Flyer. But if it is I would like to think AT were stuck for names and took to the fan forums for inspiration and saw my ingenious idea and the rest is history! :D
