Actually, I personally belive that if Tussauds were to stay in management, then we would see a Black-Hole replacement in 2009. It's just as soon as Merlin took over they decided to replace Corkscrew instead. :)

I don't believe that, i think corckrew was going sooner or later no matter what. It was getting on abet, i think its better that it has retired, it was iconic but the park will be getting something much better now imo. (well i hope otherwise this post with haunt me :sus: )

^No I agree and if you look at it UG Land/Thunder Rock Rally only has one ride there which is rita. When you look at the X-Sector it does not look any where near as empty as UG Land looks. I think Merlin made the right choice to replace the Corkscrew rather than to replace the Black Hole tent. I would not want Ug Land to look like it is now for more than a year.

The thing is though, if they were going to do something with the Black Hole tent first, before replacing Corkscrew, then Corkscrew would not have been removed at the end of last season so there would still be two coasters in Ug Land. Corkscrew was going to go sometime soon anyway but if AT did not choose to put SW6 there it could have lasted another few seasons.

But I thought it was confirmed? They can't change their mind if it's already confirmed :P

Anyway, SW6 is sure to be in Ugland, as the construction has started.
Confirmed \'09:

Alton Towers, April 7th
Thorpe Park, Summer
Alton Towers, Scarefest

Unconfirmed \'09:

Wicksteed Park (D:)
Chessington, WoA
