Advert Tweet hints to new kids ride next year

Sat Nov 28, 2009 11:56 am

I've found a Tweet from a company called "Ology" who specialise in casting children for TV shows and adverts and the like.

"Twitter" wrote:
Oh AND...high five to all the kids who did the Alton Towers commercial yesterday - SUPER BUSY WEEK...fingers crossed! about 15 hours ago from web

I don't mean to read too much into it, it could just be a general resort ad. But could it possibly mean we'll see a secondary kids ride next year (probably in CCL)?

Here's there annoying website, just to prove they're obviously legit and all.

Twitter feed.

Let the baseless speculation on a tiny ambiguous piece of useless trivial information begin!

Bloody hell that's a busy website isn't it :P VISUAL OVERLOAD!

I don't want to look into this too much, but I presume it will be for either a generic advert or something CCL related. CCL may be finally getting a bit of coverage seeing all the marketing this year was more aimed at Sharkbait Reef. I itf is a generic advert, i'll be a bit upset as they need LESS annoying kids in their adverts, nevermind in any new ones! as long as said advert still has ITHOTMK i'll be happy :D

I'm guessing that this will have no link to SW6, as one the ride is nowhere near ready for advert filming, and two it really doesn't scream KIDS RIDE. If the stupid advertising agency (who only recieve a basic product outline from AT) decide to put kids (particularly voices) in the SW6 advert, I am going to throw teddy out the cot :P

'fingers crossed!' to me suggests it was casting, not filming which i'd imagine now is about the right time for...Although I still completely agree with everything you said, so this was a pointless post really :P

Similarly, both of these Tweeps/Twits/Twitter users are involved with casting or voiceovers for the next wave of Alton advertising:

ooh, that was fun, using my BIG voice for Alton Towers :-) Don't often get the chance to do BIG!

i was just about to say they didnt specifiy that the kids 'filmed' an advert just that they 'did' one so perhaps its just a radio advert for the resort in general where they could have kids laughing & screaming in the background

This could have been the Charlie and Lola weekend one?
