I love not knowing a lot about this ride - makes the whole experience a lot better :)

However, I would advise you don't return to this topic after today if you want it to remain that way :P

The general opinions I'm hearing after staff preview are pretty negative
However I find that about a few rides I like so all hope is not lost

From the image of the guy sitting on the ride, You can see there are sensors both behind the neck area, and what looks like one in the seat. It looks like they have combined the sensory experience similar to that of the Stitch escape in Disney's magic Kingdom, or one similar to the Sweeny Todd experience at the London Dungeons a few years ago.

The feeling of whatever is down there, creeping behind your neck, in a dark environment, with a drop element, could make for a very re-rideable attraction, Which could be a great addition to the Park. Intrigued by this one.

Have they said why opinions are negative, i.e. not scary, not immersive, cheap?

I am still holding onto hope but, well, you know, this doesn't help  :|

Maybe alton are telling people to not say to much about the ride, keep it on a low till tomorrow and then we'll have quite a shock when we ride it. Ive heard theming is unreal and the story is really good to, i think it'll be a great addition to the park and keep us occupied till sw7, think about it, however good or bad it may be it'll be a damn sight better than what we got last year regardless of the outcome  :D

I think it's always best to judge attractions once they have opened fully and you have ridden it yourself :)

I can live with the ride being Sub-Standard but I can't live with the constant "It Sucks" comments which followed Th13een.

Anyway I'm heading off there now, although making a detour to relatives first so won't arrive until everyone else does tomorrow. I just came in here to see what the staff are saying. It doesn’t sound good does it? I'd like to remind Alton that around the time the Nemesis aspect of this ride was revealed I said this was there last chance to prove to me what they are capable of. I really hope this isn’t the point I lose all interest.

I think we might be reaching a bit if we are to consider that the staff are lying to keep the secret.  If so, brilliant, but in reality, well, lets just hope that maybe , opinion is divided.

Just undertaken a Twitter search, the public comments from people at the press day are pretty positive overall. I really hope this is good, if not amazing. It's such a simple concept to bugger up.
