Add duinrell. Great slides and for all the family. Also they have a kamikaze slide on the next level and the only slide I know of that goes straight down then turns straight away then it also makes you exit the slide high up the wall!

http://www.duinrell.com/tikipool/slides/blits-flits
^ Straight down curve slide ^

http://www.duinrell.com/tikipool/slides/cycloon
^ A WTH Slide. (Look at picture ^

http://www.duinrell.com/tikipool/slides ... starfright
^ Personal favourite because of rafts and effects. (Prefer Starfright) ^

http://www.duinrell.com/tikipool/slides/page_2/xstream
^ Very fast and Unique. (Must see one!) ^

http://www.duinrell.com/tikipool/slides ... likaanduik
^ Kamikaze to the next level, only 4m long but Definately worth it. Also 1.2m that would be good for alton towers ^

These are some of the slides at Duinrell. By the way AT please remove the frog on the bowl!!!

The problem is, we have to consider the area. We cant just choose the biggest and best waterslide in the world and slap it on the water park map.

I think the cycloon ( Link in the post above me) is what they need, its thrilling, but something the whole family can enjoy!
The only thing I like better than roller coasters,Alton Towers, Towers times and Theme Parks is HARRY POTTER, yes, I am a Potterhead and proud of it! :)

I would like a water slid that actually has an incline at times plus all those things posted by Scott.

Why don't we bombard the protective institutions with letter after letter after letter?

I know its not a slide but I think they should build a wave pool in the water park - indoor or outdoor it wouldn't matter. There really fun and I think Alton Tower's needs one. I think Lagoona Bay should be extended and become a wave pool thats on a timer, so it's still the main pool but every hour or so the wave machine is turned on. What do you think...?

I would like to see the Water Park actually fully open on all days. Unless you go on a Friday,Saturday or Sunday half the park is closed (the outside part) , and even when it is open its not for the same amount of time as the indoor part so you end up waiting a few hours to get outside :( . No point even thinking of adding more when they do not utilise what they already have.

But it is missing a rapids, a large pool area for just a general swim in that can be turned into a wave pool, needs to double in size really. So much potential wasted.

I went to Siam Park (October 2012) and it is the best waterpark in Europe! And I would like to see Cariba Creek build a vertical drop slide like Tower of Power at Siam Park! But I know it will never happen! :(

I think this is the ideal water slide for Alton Towers, it's not too tall and it's a really fun slide.

The whole place just needs to be that extra bit bigger. from the second you enter, everything just feels like its been cut short, maybe with the exception of Master Blaster...

I'd like another water coaster.... Dueling coasters would be epic!!

Not really about the slides, but it would great if sealife could do something in carriba creek. Make it seem as if you were actually swimming with all the fish and things!!!  :D

There are always plans in the wood works to expand the waterpark, especially the outside area. Given the opening hours I really don’t think it generates much revenue for the resort.
I’m not tight when it comes to “splashing out a bit of cash”.. but don’t even consider the waterpark anymore. It’s too overpriced.

I personally think if it was open later guests would use it a lot more. It should be advertised all-round the park, and especially on the website (so people come prepared) as a way to finish off your day, along with the spa offering “Splash Back” (excuse the slightly dodgy name)… Visit the water-park or alternatively the spa between park close-10pm for only £7 “limited spaces available so buy your ticket now”. Think of the extra money they would make from people staying on resort for dinner and perhaps a drink or two before heading home. Customers would also get to see the hotel and be more likely to book a longer stay on their next trip.

I always think Alton miss a big trick by not having enough on resort to capture guests to stay around for dinner. They have tried it with the chicken and ribs restaurant, but it’s still too early for dinner. Getting customers back to the hotel section of the resort would generate a substantial amount more income.

Look at Downtown Disney and Universal Street walk. I know the park can’t have anything on that scale and the neighbor’s would probably complain if guests were leaving much later, but they already have half of what they need. Route guests around the village if it’s such a problem
