Well, they're actually kind of comfortable, like Spinball's.

I may be wrong but when I was younger I went to Somerset and i'm sure I saw a ride called 1001 Nights and it looked just like that, what year was 1001 nights removed from AT?

For a ride of it's age, it was thrilling especially as it went over the top. I would also like it to make an appearance at AT again, even though it's old they could really do it up - like Quantum at Thorpe Park.

Torpe Park?

Finally, I got WinZip. And it was just like I remembered it! I wish those ratty old residents hadn't gone all wonky over seeing a little bit of fibreglass appear over the trees.

1001 nights video

Sat Aug 12, 2006 4:36 pm

Hi all :D

Anybody still got that video? I have winzip but it will not open :( .

I loved this ride, it was my favourite at the time. Wish it would come back. Surely the trees have grown a bit higher by now, the ride might not be quite as imposing as it once was?

There's this videoon TowersTimes which shows the ride, eventually, after some rather bad singing in Talbot Street by Madness. It's about 3 minutes in, so best to download and skip the painful bit.
