Fresh Water Park - 11/05/2012

Mon May 07, 2012 8:55 pm

I've recently come back to the RCT3 community after a little break, I'm gonna' keep this intro short and simple, heres what I've done so far:

Enterance and Turnstyles:

First Building of Courtyard:

(A small Restaurant with stairs/balcony leeding to upper level of park.

As you can probably see this is just a quick 30 minute begining on the general layout of the enterance and courtyard, theres still loads of detail and bits and bobs to be added, im slowly filling my laptop up with the CS I used to have and its hard becuase most of the stuff I previously used is now nowhere to be found so im going to have to ues some alternatives, I'll do my bes!

Now that is some very nice work there. It's looking good for such a minimal start. I just hope the rest of the park can keep up this standard :P

I really like what you've done in the last update with the coaster and the tower interacting. However, I think there is an over-reliance on the Bird House set, particularly at the entrance. It does stand alone very well, but to prevent repetition I think it would be good to try and incorporate other sets with it. I would also suggest rounding the corners of the floor surrounding the drop tower to make the base look a little less square, but other than that and maybe the station (again with a lot of the same set), I am a big fan of the coaster/tower mix and the surrounding area.

For shop interiors try Station Jim's Gift Shopping, and for glass roofs try Moby's Glasshouse & Frameworx.

You've made a very good start to this park. I was a little unsure at first when there was very little done in the first update but everything that's been added since looks really good.
