Thanks. Themed rides will be gradually added through out the park as new rides are installed. The earlier rides have no theming due to the park being brand new and needing to spend all available money on rides.

Also the new food plaza has been built, along with one of the flat rides. Both are open to the public with the second ride opening soon, unfortunately it has had to be delayed.

So a new Head of PEK has finally arrived. He is happy with the 5 year development plan although wants to make one change. He feels the park is neglecting under 1.2m's and wants to create a whole new children's area.

Year 1.the start of the construction for the parks next big ride - A bobsled coaster. (Done)

Year 2. The bobsled coaster will open. The Log Flume will close.(Done)

Year 3. The new kiddie land will begin to be built on the log flumes site. This will consist of a few flat rides.

Year 4.A new flat ride will open behind The Log flumes site. This will see the beginning of the parks new Jungle/safari area open ( Inspired by my visit to South lakes animal park). The kiddie Land will also open.

Year 4. This will see the construction of two new rides start in the jungle area. This will be a new log flume along with a river safari.

Year 5. This will see the opening of the new log flume and a river safari.

After the 5 year development plan has finished. The park will develop a new longer development plan. The Park, although has some themed areas with multiple rides in them, will mainly see small themed areas with one ride in them, however there will be some exceptions such as the jungle area, or when a supporting flat is installed in the park.

The New Bobsled coaster has been completed and is set to open next month, info will be released in the next couple of days.

Info on the new Bobsled Coaster has now been released.

It will be called the Curse, and is themed around a curse set on the park by an old witch many years ago.

Heres the back story.

200 years before LA Peak, the site was just fields although a small pond with an old building next to it, was located in the centre. One hot summers day, a group of small children were cooling off by the pond when an old figure walked up towards them from the building. Mumbling something the children couldn't understand, the old figure raised her arms in the air before lightening struck through the sky. The children were never seen again, although some say they could still here their screams. Over the centuries, the building and pond became over grown and hidden by trees. The area was left undisturbed until now. When LA Peak were looking into where their next ride could go, park workers wandered into the small forest, located at the centre of their park. This awakened the witches spirit and now all those who enter the forest, will have to face The Curse.

Pictures will be released on opening day.

The Log Flume has been taken down, and the new children's area is being planned. The area will be called Car Town, and themed around various types of vehicles. The area will extend down to American Scream, and the Ferris Wheel will also close.

Update from LA Peak.

The latest file of LA Peak has unfortunatley some how corrupted. This means Ive completely lost The Curse. Thankfully the park was saved on another back up but ths was just before work began on the Curse. As of this reason The Curse will no longer be in the park. instead a news children's area will be built code named Car Town. Car town will replace what is currently an extension of the entrance. Car Town will feature 3 rides, two of which will be suitable for under 5s, the 3rd will be family coaster. The coaster will be built near American Scream, which the park announced has few more years left and for this reason will have a temporary queue line built outside of Car town, so that th new coasters queue line can go where American Scream's queue line is. After this the 5 year plan will continue as planned.

LA Peak update.

Car town has opened under the name Car Corner. All rides that used to be in the area have been taken down, including American Scream. Here is a picture of American Scream on it's last year with the new family coaster built in among it.

The three rides are, Rushin' Round-About, VaVaVoom and Truckin' It.

A drastic fall in gate numbers last year, even with the opening or Car Corner has meant that the plans for the new safari/animal land has changed. LA Peak are taking the risk of of putting in their largest investment since opening day by extending the new Safari land. All the planned rides will go ahead along with a few new ones including some roller coasters ( one of which is second hand with new trains). This development should hopefully see the boost the park needs to continue.

(So I havent played in a while and looking at what Ive done in the animal land, I really dont like it and have gone off the idea for now - So I have scrapped it)

LA Peak update -

After plans for the Animal Land were rejected by PP, LA Peak are creating the new Wild West, this is because Bucking Bulls and Mission Miner have reached the end of their operational lives. They are being removed and new western themed rides are going to be installed.

It should have said non western themed rides).

The new rides to replace Wild West are officially open.

Wild Wagons has received new generic trains and has also been renamed Lightening.
Bombs Away has been put into storage and replaced by Thunder - A Huss Frisbee.
Bucking Bulls has been replaced by Vertigo - A Fabbri Mega Drop
Mission Miner has been replaced by The Wave - A Huss Top Spin.

The Park are now introducing Single Rider queues on all of their rides. The new rides have these queues, although are not being used yet. All new rides will open with these queues and the park are adding them to all old rides.

So, been a while so big update.

Peak Entertainments has made the decision to sell of LA Peak and leave the American theme park industry. LA Peak isn't as successful as Peak Entertainments hoped it would be by now and is not making profits. Also Lakeland Peak has been suffering and has seen gate numbers dwindle due to lack of investments. The money raised from selling LA Peak has been spent on so major upgrades to Lakeland Peak and has already seen a big increase in gate figures.

The first big change was the introduction of a third entrance near Lakeland Pearl. This was after the park continually got complaints from the public that there was no easy access to the entrance of the park from public transport, even though there is a train station near by. The new entrance is not only a 5 minute walk from the nearest train station but also has two bus stops outside. The third entrance has proven to be successful in also dispersing the crowds. Lakeland Pearl has been incorporated into the new entrance. It has received a new station building along with new 4 across trains. Two new rides, Spin Motion and Observation Tower have also been opened.

Image

The area across the railway has also seen major changes. The water fountain play park has been removed along with Tsunami. Tsunami was removed after 30 years in operation. It saw its final 3 years at the park operating with just one station. The second being converted into a brake run, although all the original station building and queue line remained intact. After Tsunami was removed a new Intamin accelerator coaster was installed called Speed Demon. Along with Speed Demon a new dark ride has been built called Crazy Cats. Lakeland Peak Railway also saw a year out of action due to extension work. A new station has been built next to the new entrance and a new station has been built next to Lost Territory, replacing the connecting path between the two sides of the park.

Development work is now beginning on The Pier and Promenade to create it into a more relaxed area with less rides, however Speed Demon is built around the pier, and Pushin' pedals along with the boats will remain. The Dodgems have already been removed and The Ferris Wheel is due to be removed at the end of this season. The area will then be developed into an outdoor shopping district disused by a small forest.
