Cnut Park- Planet coaster project

Tue Sep 18, 2018 5:30 pm

So I’m currently working on a Planet Coaster project called Cnut Park, but if I think of a better idea then I’ll use that. It'll have a realistic budget and when I finish phase 1 I will then go on to phase 2. etc
Would like suggestions for ride and area names.

Current progress:

Entrance area: in early construction

Wild West area: Pretty much complete, but hoping to add more theming at one point or another.

Sci-fi area: similar status to Wild West area. This area will incorporate a large dark ride, which is progressing swiftly.

Jungle area. Construction hasn’t started yet

That’s about it. Enjoy!

Ok, Its been just over a month since I updated and cnut park has sort of failed. I'm hoping to upload the semi-completed park to the steam workshop in the next few weeks. I have got some other projects which i'm not going to release that much about in case they go under too, but here are some ideas i'm hoping to finish:
A mega-park
A park similar to cnut
A spooky park
I think that's about it! Hoping for the best! I am doing a mini-trip newt week to AT and DM, so progress may slow down.

15th post!

PS: Can a team member change the topic name to 'Sozzy 40's Planet Coaster creations

Introducing Vintage Village! I've just come back from this small park.
">Image
This is a small vintage-themed amusement park set on an island.
The park's entrance isn't anything special, with the first thing you see being a load of arcade games.
Image
To the right is a boat ride named Island Adventure!
[url=Image
Take a relaxing boat ride around the island! This was a relaxing and fun ride!

To thwleft is the rest of the amusement park, including a wooden coaster named roller coaster!

That's all for now! I'll update again shortly!

Sorry it's all changing at the moment, but I'm changing the format so it's like I'm visiting these parks. I've edited one of my last posts to follow this format
25th Post!

P:S: this is set in the year 1982

End of season 1981
So I've just come back from Cherpon Park and that park is terribile! Good thing it recently got aqquired by Excitement Parks Because it needs an renovation.

The shops were recently added in a hurry so they aren't custom.
Image
[url=Image
I'm friends with the CEO of Entertainment Parks, so I got a look at the park's signature coaster, Looper, during early morning testing.
Image

I'll post more later, but at the moment I'm only posting in small snippets so I don't lose my work if my computer randomly crashes.

Another update from Cherpon Park.

Here's a few more pics of Looper, the first one was taken from behind the scenes:

My only pic of the park's other coaster, Dragon.

Some of the park's flats:

That's all of the park's rides (it's a very small park)

SOS 1982
Woah. Visiting family and came across this monster of a ride(literally, it's called The Monster). The wooden coaster weaves it's way out and back.through the woodland, through a tunnel and around a lagoon:

As you can see, most of the pictures are from on-ride because you can't see much of it from off ride

Ok... A few weeks ago I came back from Adventure Kingdom, a new theme park. Here's the first part of my review...

The entrance has one of the wooden coasters, The Monster:Image
Generally, The Monster is a great ride! Here are a few photos of the entrance and station:

Good ride. Here are some on-ride photos (taken with the park's permission):

Aand now the general park entrance area, containing an information booth, a food court and a shop(quite far back):

That's all for now! Part 2 coming soon!

Ok, I've decided to try and redo this topic again, with a more realistic approach:
Spring 1977
As you enter you are greeted with a water tower:
Image
You can get a pretty good view of the park's signature attraction, American Arrow, from the car park:
 Image
The park has a pretty nice entrance area. Several of the stalls haven't yet been added:
Image
The entrance area also has an impressive Jester statue:
Image
To the right is the Americana Area:
Image
Home to the American Arrow:
Image
Image
Definitely a good rice, bit rough in places, I only got on it once due to long queues though:
Image
The Americana area is also home to restaurant The Diner and flat ride Kick Flip:
Image
Image
Image
Further along is the Africa area:
Image
On the other side of the park is their wooden coaster, Brauerei:
Image
The ride also has a very large station:
Image

Image
The final ride is Italian Spin:
Image
There are a few empty paths elsewhere, but those are all the main rides. I'll make sure to keep you updated:
Image
Bye!

Summer 1977
So, there have been several changes since summer!
Firstly, here's a picture of the back of Brauerei:
Image
Also, the stalls have been added (mostly):
Image
The park have also added a picnic area around the back:
Image
Finally, POVs of the coasters!

Autumn 1977
Halloween is here and with it Adventure Kingdom is open late along with a spooky trail!
Since the park is open late they've added some lampposts.
The main mascot of their Halloween event is King Ghoster, the brother of the park's main mascot, King Coaster:
Image
The trail is called King Ghoster's Pumpkin trail. Guests have to find stamps around the park!
Image
You pick up a card and then have it stamped at various locations around the park, before returning to get a prize!
Image
The event also brings rides in the dark with it:
Image
Image
The Africa area is shut for the event:
Image
See you in 1978!

Spring 1978
There's not that much added to the park this year, but I went to check it out anyways:

King Ghoster's Pumpkin trail has been removed:
Image
I got a behind the scenes tour on Brauerei:
Image
The entrance plaza from the lifthill:
Image
The helix from the lifthill:
Image
The car park from the mid-course:
Image
I haven't shown much of the Africa area, so here are some pictures:
Hurricane:
Image
The back of the Nature Museum:
Image
And, finally a pic of Italian Spin:
Image
THe owners of adventure kingdom, who have named themselves Coasters Entertainments, have built a second theme park, opening next week!

Spring 1978
Well, Notgnissehc Park has opened and I went to check it out! Here's a trip report:

From the car park you can get a good view of the rides:
Image
The park entrance street is nice:
Image
To the left of the park is Looper, the park's only rollercoaster. It's a Shwartsgof looping coaster:
Image
I prefer this to American Arrow personally, mainly because it's smoother.
Image
The park also has a car ride, sponsored by Citroen:
Image
On the ride you go past huts, through a mountain, and past several vehicles. Mainly cars.
Image
The track above belongs to Flying Elephants:
Image
Image
There is also a flat ride, but that's it! See you next time at Adventure Kingdom!
Image
Edit: The POVs are up

Summer 1978
It's Summer at Adventure Kingdom!
A new entrance sign has been added:
Image
After my behind-the-scenes tour of Brauerei, I got one for American Arrow:
Image
It's quite cool to get a really close look:
Image
Image
Finally, it looks as though we could be seeing something exciting next year!
