There is not enough positive things going on on forums of late so...

What did you do today/recently that made you feel good about yourself?

There was a homeless guy outside my work this morning and he was still there when I popped to ASDA for my breakfast, so I brought him back an English Breakfast and a cup of tea. He was so happy and thankful I could have cried, my only worry is now he will be there everyday and I will have to spend lots of money buying him food, but it did make me and him feel good and set me right up for the day.

So, what positive things have you done recently? :)

I made some people smile/laugh. I gave out some donuts and some sausage rolls. I helped someone with simple harmonic motion in physics.

Nothing life changing, but the opportunity didn't really present itself :P

I have recently been talking to a girl I randomly met about a month ago, we went to the Cinema together other day, I really like her, and after asking one of her friends, I found out she likes me too (although I already kinda knew with all the texts and reading her body language)...

Soo yeah, been single for far too long and I'm going to ask her out next week :)

Oh, and I also told the Big Issue women to **** off! - Made me feel fantastic! :D

I've been giving advice to a friend of mine for the last few weeks and today he told me "I'd saved his relationship" which despite being hugely ironic, did put a smile on my face.

I walked around the House of Commons and Lords friday afternoon which was pretty cool, and then to top it all off we knocked on the door of the Drapers Company (the trust that owns my school) and they let us in for a look around. All I can say is wow, the place rivals Buckingham Palace... she led us to the grand hall and my jaw dropped, beautiful.

Generally settling in to the new sixth form, moved on from the last girlfriend and well... things are looking up.

Go me.

Er... I washed up for my whole house for the second day running? Not to mention the other times. To quote one of my drunken housemates: "I don't bother cleaning the kitchen or washing up or anything, because I know someone else will do it" - cue look of horror a second later when he realised who he said it to... will be sorting THAT one out very soon if he doesn't change his ways.

Nothing else positive today really, I curled up in bed at 2pm to read one of my course books on Soviet politics and fell asleep till 6pm. Oh, and I actually COOKED decent meal - pasta tuna bake with cut up sausages. :) Was lush.

That sounds like me although not in that context. Kerry is such a messy messy person, and there is one thing I hate so much and that is a messy house. Absolutely hate it and Kerry calls me the boy "Monica" which is NEVER good. I'm always cleaning, even when my mother isn't in, I always clean the house for her getting in.

I can't help it. It's a disease!

Spent my first day at uni with a friend I went to school with, get on well with, and had an ace time. Tomorrow it all begins proper and today has set me right up for it (I'm living at home so am at Staffs Uni)
The Lonely end of the Rink- a great song, and it\'s usually the case when I go ice skating because I just can\'t keep up!
