I just phoned by grandmother completely spontaneously and had a good catch-up, she's been feeling a bit ill recently apparently.

I am really proud of this as I haven't exactly had a "harmonious" relationship with her before and I am really putting the effort in to be a really good grandson. I find that if you actually put effort into the relationship, the more she puts in too - she's just one of those people.

:)

I wont comment as she looks under 16. But well done - I never thought you'd have it in you ging. However, if you see the bird on the right... Tell her to lay of the botox.

Hmm what have I done thats nice. Be polite to idiotic old people asking me stupid questions at work. Also I fixed my grans alarms that were going off at all hours - I also posted her letters. I moved Kaycee to and from uni. Also I always donate my change from a £1 to charity boxes. May not sound alot, But it all adds up :D

Something good happened today, mainly related to my photography. I've only just really got into it seriously, and thoroughly enjoying it. Trying most things, and today discovered something which made me happy. Its not very exciting or good, might be random, but hey!

Well from Saturday, I met with a friend who's a professional photographer, both of us (with my friends) going round the Walsall Illuminations, he got me to set up the camera on manual, and capture the Carousel.

I took a normal one like this:

Then set it up manually, and got this:

Also took photos like this (which I'd never usually take):

But yeah, I'm still taking some more photos, but yeah, getting better :D

Enjoy!

Nice one. That carousel one is impressive! I really enjoy taking night shots, they seem to capture so much energy in them!

I was walking through town last night in the rain, and there was an old guy on a motorised little buggy that had broken down. He asked me if I could try and help him to start it up again, but I couldn’t figure out how, so asked him where he lived. He said just five minutes down the street, so I offered to push him back to his house. I got soaking wet, but I felt good for helping him out, as there was no other way for him to get home and it was tipping it down.
