Ah, the yearly Blue Peter rollercoaster challenge.

Usually ends up with some presenter saying that they don't want to do the ride but then do it and its the best ride ever.

Dunno if they will mention SAW, it might be a bit above Blue Peter's target audience.

Thanks for the info.

It will feature Colossus at Thorpe Park, Kumali at Flamingoland and Rage at Adventure Island. :)

I'll watch it, although they're always so cliche.
The presenters aren't very good now either.

Not only will it probably be on YouTube, I've checked and it's going to be on BBC iPlayer so will be easy to watch later. :)

The 'professor' on blue peter was also at saw opening at Thorpe, can't help but moan about the 'top 3 coasters' in the UK comment...

Right, I've just finished watching the rollercoaster bit. Apparently Kumali is a flying coaster ?!
Also the 4 heartline rolls on Colossus are corkscrews?! :?

If they're gonna do a thing on rollercoasters, they should do it properly :|

Can't say I'm surprised Kumali's scare and excitement levels were pitiful.

I was ment to be working on that episode, but took the day off to go to Thorpe instead....

... But the website said SAW and Stealth were down, so we didn't go in the end.

Maybe I should have a word with the production team next time and 'proof view' the item on behalf of us nerds?

To be honest, Blue Peter has become a bit of a discrase, with all the wrong data and such.

Plus, since when have three of the roughest coasters in the country, been the country's best? :?

I haven't seen it yet. I'm gonna watch it when I finnish work (after Football Focus). I wanna see that T Rex as well. I saw them building it the day before, and it was HUGE!

---- Post Info Added ----

Just watched it. Seemed a bit pointless to me. Anyone remember when they featured the Ultimate years ago? at least they chose a new (at the time) ride.

In my expierience the GP only know two inversions: 'Loop' and 'Corkscrew'. I've heard ppl refer to zero-g-rolls as corkscrews many times. Boomerangs / cobra rolls usually get called 'That Thing' (while pointing).

I watched it on I Player last week ... :|

Kumali and Rage are not two of the top rollercoasters in the UK. SIMPLE :P
Should have been Oblivion, Stealth & G-Force (although G-Force isn't the best).
I know half of these have been on it in the past but they were a poor choice in my opinion :)
Colossus weren't a bad choice though.

Oblivion and Stealth were both on last years. Along with The Big One and Speed- No Limits! :D

I recently wathced it on I-Player, and it was simply cringe-worthy. Next year I think they should feature Nemesis, Stealth, Pepsi Max Big One & Mumbo Jumbo.

All four of the most appealing roller-coasters in Britain. :)

As I have already mentioned The Big One and Stealth have been covered recently by Blue Peter they should try something different!

Rita, Nash, Mumbo Jumbo and Nemesis Inferno I say! :D
