Show us your motor, or your dads motor if you don't have one!

Here's mine

To be remapped to 220BHP
0-62 in 7 seconds. Not quite Rita but good for a diesel. :)
Top speed 140mph

One on the left - MINI Cooper Graphite Edition 1.6 with matte finish.

No idea what the stats are but it handles like a go-kart and is great on fuel. Its my baby. :)

Nice Caz - really puts into perspective the size difference between the old and the new.
Yup the Cooper is pretty rapid - never driven one but heard from lots of people how good the handling is. :)

Its hard to believe that the Mini on the right was produced in 2001, one of the last on the final production run. It's such a dinky little thing.

@Kryn

What sort of economy do you get out of that? I look at Parkers for figures on these powerful turbo'd petrol cars and always think they're somewhat optimistic?

I know some of these these figures can be achieved, but I guess if you have a GTI you're right foot is a little heavy? ;)
I managed to get 65MPG out of my 2.0litre 16v TDI a few months back - tucked up behind Eddie on the motorway doing 50mph.

I was very late though so that didn't last! :)

Yes it actually looks the new mini look huge when of course it isn't by today's standards. Your family a bit of Mini fans I take it then?

Oh and check out this little crettin:

Trying my door handles at silly O'clock - another group later ripped off my wing mirror. God forbid if I ever catch them at it.

Not particularly, although me and my sister both drive MINIs. Reason for the old mini is that my dad is a bit of a classic car collector/dealer. It was an impulse buy at an auction, only had it for a few weeks during which we thrashed it about down the local roads, great fun!
