To be honest, I can see Channel 4 regretting this, they took the easy option, instead of refreshing the show like Channel 5 have, they cancelled it. I reckon Channel 5 could be onto a winner, and this could be the best BB and CBB ever, Channel 5 are doing everything right so far! Can't wait! :D

Ive kind always watched thru habbit, I loved the build up beforehand, channel 4 used to do some great promos, and id get excited.
Then Id see the scum of the population that entered the house and quickly hate it again.

Saying this I found the finale CBB of C4 very good, it seemed to hit a good stride with events, not too edited and was just pleasent. Didnt find the last BB or UBB the same tho, but I enjoyed the editing style much nicer.

Im loving that C5 are pushing this, while it may fail compared to C4 ratings it could be a brilliant hit for them. I hope them the best with it. I just hope we dont end up with the orange, permatanned, essex style scratters.

Anyone watching it except me?

Does this mean I can sneak chickpeas in your cornflakes and mess up the floor with coleslaw?

When I heard about the rumour that Charlie Sheen was going in, I was like:

"YEEEESSSSSS COME OOOOOOOOOOONNNNN.... Time for him to mess with the thick celebrities heads and stir some :censored: up!!!"

Then they cleared things up and it turned out he wasn't going in the CBB house.

#-o

The people in the house are not celebrities in my opinion. Pfffft... this is semantic degradation at it's worst and a prime example of low-brow, trash TV. Why the hell would they class a gypsy that can't even talk properly as a celebrity? People like Daniel Craig, Robert De Niro, Sarah Michelle Gellar, David Beckham, Ricky Gervais, Venus Williams and Kelly Brook are real celebrities. The CBB line-ups are always a bunch of weirdos, hazbin's and nobodies and it embarrasses me to think that the British public consider them to be truly worthy of any fame whatsoever!

Good on Channel 5 is all I can say. If there are people willing to put up with the likes of Jedward, Amy you'vebeentangoed Childs and the woman that used to be famous but then went mad and started doing Iceland adverts and crying at the paparazzi (I've forgotten her name, that's how much of an impact she's had on my life :P ), then I agree, bring the show back and rake in the millions.

This show could be really great if they would just pay out for real celebrities, but time after time we get our hopes up that maybe this year it'll be different? Then we find out who's in the house and that's the last of it we see.

Wow, awesome, Jedward will win tonight, TBH. Then Amy, Paddy, Kerry, Lucien, Bobby then Darren.

I had a dream that Paddy will win, although as long as Kerry or Jedward don't win I'm not bothered who does.

Anyone lost interest in this show?

I can honestly say, in all the years I've loved Big Brother and been a dedicated fan I have switched off completely for the first time. I don't know what it is, but the show has just lost it's touch for me, it doesn't feel right - Channel 5 have done something to the format but I can't quite put my finger on what it is.

I watched large chunks of CBB, but haven't watched a single second of this new BB that started last week...

Exactly what I feel. For me, Brian has something to do with it. I just don't see Big Brother without Davina :(

Anyone else watching the new series? It's actually shaping up rather nicely with a wide bunch of clashing characters and sausage rows!

Unlike the last celebrity one, there is actually some action going on!

I know Luke Anderson in real life. He's the chef at a hotel where a few of my friends work at, and I'm also friends with his wife. He's the only reason why I'm watching to be honest!

I must say, last year I lost all hope on Big Brother being on Channel 5. Being a devoted fan I stayed with the show last year, but found it so unbearable I switched off completely and stopped watching it. Although I've been glued to this years series! I look forward to watching it every night. C5 are still doing a few things I dislike, but they have improved since last year and the show feels more complete than it did a year ago.

It's hard to tell who I like and dislike so far. Lydia is such a drama queen though, that'll backfire on her soon - and Aaron is a bit of a tit!

So yeah, I gave Big Brother another go this year in the hope it's be improved and it has! Great cast this year, a nice mixture of personalities.

Sasuagegate! :P

I have to admit i've not watched any of it this year!

I used to be a huge fan as well, even attended many of the evictions and went on Big Mouth etc.  I should try and make an effort really but never seem to get round to watching it.
