Lulz, not funny Stelios.

Don't be so ridiculous Stelios.

Norwich have much higher standards than someone who overlooks the first choice right back of the champions in favour of someone who played 10 games for the team that finished 8th.

BETFRED 66-1. I said Greece'd win it in 2004 when I was clueless about football, but I got it right so I thought since England are meh and I didn't want to go to obvious, I went for Greece again.

England, 4th favorites.  :P

I'll stick to my sweepstake team and go with Italy to win. But it would be funny if Ireland won as then they would be more successful in Europe than us. :P

Ferdinand was left out because he refused to go on the reserve list, and because of the John Terry thing.

I'm just as annoyed you all are that half the England squad is made up of Liverpool players.

WARNING - STUPIDLY LONG POST

After discussion stadiums in the shoutbox, I fancied posting my "ground count" on here. The stadiums in italics are defunct, and I've put the team in brackets for some of the more obscure stadia.

Grounds I've gone to as either a home fan, supporting a team at a neutral venue or as a neutral:

Glandford Park
Goodison Park
Old Wembley
New Wembley
Nou Camp
Birch Park (Bottesford Town)

Grounds as an away fan:

North UK:

St James Park
Hillsborough
Etihad Stadium
Ellend Road
Bramall Lane
Bloomfield Road
KC Stadium (Hull City)
Millmoor (Rotherham)
Galpharm Stadium (Huddersfield)
Valley Parade (Bradford City)
Deepdale (Preston)
Prenton Park (Tranmere)
Gigg Lane (Bury)
Spotland (Rochdale)
Boundary Park (Oldham)
Blundell Park (Grimsby)
Keepmoat Stadium (Doncaster)
Belle Vue (Doncaster)
Oakwell (Barnsley)
Sincil Bank (Lincoln)
The Shay (Halifax)

Midlands:

King Power Stadium
Pride Park
The Hawthorns
Ricoh Arena
Bescot Stadium (Walsall)
Meadow Lane (Notts Forest)
County Ground (Notts County)
Vale Park (Port Vale)
B2net Stadium (Chesterfield)
One Call Stadium (Mansfield)
Gay Meadow (Shrewsbury)

South and London:

Stamford Bridge
Selhurst Park
The Valley (Charlton)
Ashton Gate (Bristol City)
Adams Park (Wycombe)

Pretty sure that's all of them, 42 if I've counted correctly. :)

My top personal 10:

10: Deepdale
9: Bramall Lane
8: Ellend Road
7: Stamford Bridge
6: Selhurst Park
5: Etihad Stadium
4: New Wembley
3: Hillsborough
2: Nou Camp
1: St James Park

And that concludes one of the longest sport related posts in TTF's history. :P

Good news for Norwich, Chris Hughton worked wonders with Newcastle and I think they should of kept him.

Good luck to Chris Hughton and Norwich. :D

He was the best of the rumoured appointments, he was punching above his weight with Birmingham due to lack of promised investment. I'm sure he'll add his own touch to Norwich and I'm sure he'll put up a good fight to stop a sinking ship. He will have a shaky first season I think as he tries to settle the team, I'm going for 13th-16th with a lot of draws. I think Norwich will lack the bite that they had against the bigger teams, but they are in good hands with Hughton. I wish him the best of luck.

Ha I love the fact you have been to the Hawthorns (my second home) but you haven't been to Villa Park or Molineux hahaha. What did you think of the Hawthorns?

That's because Scunny have never been in the same league (or had an away cup draw) as Villa and I remember we did have an away game at Wolves about 4 years ago, but for some reason I couldn't go. But Scunny and WBA were both in the championship a couple years ago. :)

Nice ground I thought, plus the facilities and food on offer were a lot nicer than some grounds I've been to, and the leg room looked  prettygood but I was stood towards the back so can't really comment on that.

The WBA fans were quite good as well, and had some pre match banter with the programme seller. Only bad thing about that day was the result, lost 1-0 if I remember rightly. Overall I was impressed by the ground and would certainly love to go again some time soon.

My ground count is pretty poor tbh :P

Wembley x2 - To see two England friendlies, one of which was England vs Mexico, the other I can't remember.
Emirates x3 - Brazil vs Italy, Brazil vs Sweden and the 2011 Emirates Cup (went on the second day, saw the second half of PSG vs Boca Juniors and the whole of Arsenal vs New York Red Bulls, who I got to see lift the cup).
Old Trafford x2 - Once again I can't really remember. I think one was United vs Valencia. Both were pre-season, as due to school and living so far away (yeah, shoot me for not being a local fan :P) means I can't really make the games during term-time.

On the subject of me supporting United from afar, I'd have to say my second team is MK Dons (inb4 franchise scum) as  that's where I was born. Yet to go to one of their games and I admit I don't follow them as closely as United but it's nice to have a change from winning most years to a playoff fight.

My stadium count is worse : Upton Park , Roots Hall (Southend United) x3

I hate all the people that Ritadz and Spinball Edders said apart from Celtic, Grimsby and Hull fans. I also hate Colchester and Southampton fans and the general club. I have always been brought up as a west ham fan since living in Dagenham despite my Granddad's attempt to make me support Arsenal.

Trust me in my family, football is a dysfunctional family affair (my family - west ham/Southend , grandad and uncle - Arsenal, other uncles - Millwall  and my cousins either support Chelsea,Tottenham,Newcastle or Everton
