The Lottery chances increased this evening

Fri May 18, 2012 6:38 pm

Tonight the euromillions is giving away 18 raffle tickets of 1 million pounds so I purchased 3 tickets to further increase my chances. If there are 6 million people that play the euromillions each week and the raffle is being drawn 18 times tonight I make that 6 million / 18 =333,333 to one and with 3 tickets bought 333,333 / 3 = 111,111 odds to 1.

These odds seem pretty good for a million quid but is this calculated correctly?  :?

My sister did her first tickets conveniently today and I chose my Mum's numbers, good luck all!

Albiet it's still very unlikely. 1 in 10000 first least a grand so we have a long shot across Europe too, but still I should stop being so cynical and cross my fingers!

Hey If the jackpot was more than £333,333 that amount of tickets is actually a viable investment.
