Hero at Flamingo Land

It was extremely rough round corners and inversions and not at all comfortable. Came off with a very sore back. I don't plan to ever go on it again. Major let down for Flamingo Land, should've kept the Wild Mouse, as Hero is a waste of an investment. Got to ride it before the opening though. Opening was rubbish too, only decent guest was a player at the club I support up here in Scotland. For more detail about the opening, the park's owner introduced 2 football players, a football manager, 2 Emmerdale actresses and Lemar ;D

I've never actually felt like I'm going to fall off a ride but this was just terrible.
The restraints were really loose, and then the extra metal cage type restraint over everyone was even worse. I know I wouldn't have fallen off but It was definitely not enjoyable and the whole thing with just me on it was forced round in repetitive circles which just felt uncomfortable. It's the only ride I've ever been on that I wanted off and it is the only time I've ever held on for my life  didn't like it at all!
It's weird because amazing confusion at Fantasy island is practically the same ride and when I rode that the year earlier it was my favourite flat ride ever, and probably still is!

I just read on wiki that a 12 year old boy fell from one of these rides at Camelot and I was 12 when I rode it...
Now it's definitely the worst ride I've ever been on :yikes:

I feel your pain, I live in Great Yarmouth n that ride is not cool

A micro Swinging Ship at a local faire.

I rode it when I was 5 or 6.

I found the Negative G forces very uncomfortable. I thought it'd be a similar experience to swinging on a swing in a playground. I was wrong.

That experience has put me off riding anything since, as it made me terrified of anything that may have -Gs.

I've never been on a ride that I have truly hated. There have been rides that are flawed, rides that could be improved, and plenty that weren't worth the queue, but nothing absolutely horrific.

I suppose if I had to choose one, I'd go with It's a Small World, just because we were stupid enough to believe someone who told us it was an exciting water ride. We queued 40 minutes for it, and found it very boing in comparison to rides that we a queued only 10 minutes for earlier that day.

I have two rides that are the worst I've been on which would be a Crazy Train and a Chance Toboggan. Simply hideous in every way :D

Pandemonium and Malestrom at DM, the only rides I ever vomited after riding.

Finally appearing in my own topic. ;)

That ride was vomit inducing, it was like Submission all over again but longer.

Yup.
That and Furios Baco, a ride I really wanted to like.
Excellent theming, quirky styling, quality loading station and an awesome forceful launch, what is there not to like ?
Well everything that follows the launch, Baco really is a horrible little monkey !

Gemini at cedar point, may have been good 20 years ago but now its the most painful, non thrilling ride out there. If you want your knees turned to dust, lap forced into a metal bar and whiplash then gemini is the ride for you.

Lazer Raiders at LEGOLAND Windsor. I queued long for the ride, and it's was really short! What ticks me off it has a low throughput, and it's one of the parks most popular rides!

A Pinocchio ride at Tivoli World in Benalmadena. It takes about 30 seconds to go through, you're going so quick you hardly see anything, so I don't know how it's meant to tell the story.

To my delight I realised that I haven't posted on this topic before :lol

My #1 worst ride EVER is River Caves at Blackpool Pleasure Beach

Where do I begin on this ride
*It fakes a Tunnel of Love (so I always get embarrassed when queuing for it with my parents :hano: )
*The anomotronics are falling to pieces (The Monkeys legs are going to fall of any time soon)
*They removed the best part of the ride (The massive ice room thing 8-[ )
*You always stop on the lift hill for about 5 or 10 minutes (at least that's what it feels like)
*There is always water flooding the boat (witch is not nice if you are on the back row waiting on the lift)

Here is the room I was trying to say (it went in the same room as the gold mine)

Ok River Caves is no longer my worst ride ever

Now knowing that it's over 100 years old and being one of the first ever permanent dark rides
I can't hate it, I LOVE DARKS

I guess I have to find a new worst ride :lol
