Imagine you had an AT mad friend who'd just woken from a 5 year coma. The first question they ask you (even before 'Where's Mum? She was in the accident too') is 'What's new at Alton Towers since me and my parents were in that horrifying crash?'
Now, being the insensitive soul that you are, you decide, instead of telling the truth, to make up some cruel lies to get his/her excitement up.
Luckily, there's a computer with internet access right by the hospital bed and so you go to
www.rcdb.com and click on some pictures of some great coasters/rides that you know darn well aren't at Alton Towers, but your friend doesn't. You then proceed to excitedly tell your friend how great these rides are and how you can't wait to go to AT again, to ride on them with him/her.
So, post pics that would fit this scenario, bearing in mind that the pics you choose must realistically look like they could be taken at AT. So, for example it'd be no good posting this, cos it's so clearly not Alton Towers;
'Yeah, right! How's my Mum?'__________
But this would be fine if you told your friend that it was a new ride in Katanga Canyon, or had even replaced Nemesis;
'Can't wait to ride that. Did John Wardley design it? Is there a nurse about?'__________
Although, you might also be able to get away with this, informing your friend that this is taken from by the lake, looking towards where Merrie England used to be. And you could torment him/her by excitedly saying about how three years ago the planning laws were changed to allow such lovelies to be built;
'Ooh, wow! I hope they let me ride it now I've got no legs'__________
So post more pics of rides that aren't at AT but look like they could be, bearing in mind that the slightest hint that your picture wasn't taken at Alton Towers will give the game away and shatter your friends illusions and quite possibly put him/her back into another coma.
