Agreed. Furthermore, as you come out of the monorail station there is a board with unoperational rides on (providing the closures were expected). So in some cases you are told of the closures before you even pay!

That is a pathetic statement to make, basically what you are suggesting is that any theme park worldwide should refund their paying customers everytime one attraction out of the whole park is closed.  :roll:

I totally sympathise with Towers for closing on Sunday and I think they handled the situation a lot better than they did on the previous occasion, especially as there appears to be a lot less people kicking up a fuss about it, where as the last time there was a lot of angry customers who felt they were mistreated by staff and security.

I was at Towers yesterday and I give them credit for opening the Sky Ride, they could of easily shut it as it was windy again.

Sorry the park was shut for you mate. The last time I visited the park was Thursday 5th, so that was GREAT for The Sun to choose me that date :)

I have to say I'm most impressed with AT at the moment. I had Sun tickets for Sunday, me and the OH set off but decided it wasn't worth it, after I heard they had closed the park due to the weather I emailed the park. Cheeky I know, but I was more than prepared to be told to do one and as they were Sun tickets they were free afterall. But to my surprise I have been told that my tickets will be valid until 20th Oct :D happy bunny!

No. Actually read what I said. I said i don't agree that they need to give compensation for the big one, or any attraction infact, for any park.

It's clearly stated in T&Cs, it's clearly not their fault. I was having a go at someone who was making ridiculous comparisons. But hey ho.

from what i have been reading here, i am impressed on AT handling of this bad weather. it sound like they had a couple of challenging days. and from what written here, the staff have been a great asset to the park. It is a shame some customers are extremely rude to them.
